S.T.E.A.M CAMP

Our S.T.E.A.M Team Campers will enjoy and partake in FUN daily activities where they will be building new inventions individually and as a team.  We will provide clear visual instructions/ expectations for all.

Why Us?

Our program is specifically designed for children and adolescents with learning disabilities and associated disorders. S.T.E.A.M Team Camps  is managed and run by a team of trained, certified individuals, with many years of experience working with a diverse range of children.

As you can imagine, children trying to deal with a range of disabilities, spend most of their days simply trying to cope. Generally speaking, school has not been a good experience for them and friendships can sometimes come few and far between. Children can be intimidated by social activities or sometimes they are not able to participate effectively.

Our Program is offering a way for children to come together outside of school hours, to socialize in a small group setting. Our S.T.E.A.M focused program will help guide student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking, while promoting friendships and team building.

  • Highly structured daily routine
  • Visual schedules
  • Visual Aids and prompts
  • 1:4 (teacher:student) ratio
  • Simple straight forward rules with regard to appropriate behaviour
  • Consistent leadership, supervision and direction
  • All staff trained and experienced working with children with learning disabilities
